Yahoo sent a new pass to my alt e-mail; I no longer have access to the alt. How can I get back in yahoo acct?

Basically, I forgot my password and asked yahoo to autogenerate a new one. They sent it to my alternate e-mail and then I realized I no longer have access to that dead alternate account.



I have no idea now how to get my alternate e-mail changed (don't know the new password). I feel like I've locked myself out permanently and there is no one alive in Yahoo customer service apparently to help me. you must gain a new password the same as you did at last time

but this time after you answerto yahoo questions(birthday and country code) you must answer to challenge question

I don't know of any email service that lets you change your id, but usually you can change your name, which is what shows up along your email address (the one with your id and your email provider) when someone gets an email from you.

Alternatively, you could also create a completely new account.

Make a new e-mail, but don't get rid of your current one. On your second e-mail account, just don't make a new Yahoo Answers account. Just keep your old one.
