Changing E-Mail Address?
I've recently switched internet companies. I can't figure out how to switch my Answer points from my old address to my new address. Can anyone help? I added the new address as an alternate, but it doesn't show any points.Changing E-Mail Address?how can i change my address book and fine it

EDIT/CREATE NEW PUBLIC PROFILE
You can create 6 new public profiles for each account ID. On your Friend's List click on Messenger at the top and then My Profiles. Then a box will appear...click on Create/Edit Profiles and on the yahoo member directory page sign in at the top and then you can click on View My Profiles on the right This will take you to a new window and you can click the button that says Create New Public Profile.
Make sure to save your changes once you do. Now exit yahoo messenger and log back in. When you go to join a room you will see a drop down menu by your name with your profile names for that main account and you can chat with one of those new profile names.
When you make a new public profile under an existing yahoo account, you will not get a new email address with that and your friend's list shows for you. But you can choose to only use whatever new public profile you want people to see or add.
Please Also Note: You can create totally new yahoo accounts if you want to and still access your old email account from your original name. I have a few accounts and email addresses.

That is one of the lowest things I have ever seen. I too share a strong opinion on abusive emails, indeed the last user who sent me a 'not so pleasent email' was later suspended I believe.

I do not know why but remove them from your blocked list so they can come to your inbox.

I get a LOT of spam in my gmail account. Right now I have over 2000 in my spam folder, and I always have those kinds of large amounts. Occasionally spam e-mail will make it into my inbox, but I don't mind that. (How they got my e-mail address I don't know - I do not give it out liberally).
My problem is that every so often legitimate e-mails can end up in the spam box. But I can't just search through the box for any legitimate ones because I would have to go through Thousands of junk e-mails.
So my question, put simply, is whether there is anyway to stop spam from coming to my account. I have had the account for a number of years and don't want to give it up.

You can not completely stop all spam, but you can help to put a big dent in it.
First, try not to open any of them, that only makes them send more and more to you.
Check mark them and click on 'Spam,' this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox.
Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on 'spam' in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more of it to you.
Never, ever give out your account information or other personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.

I made a yahoo account a while back with a more childish name- obviously I thought it was very cool then haha. A while ago I made a more professional one with my first initial and my last name so I could hand it out to schools or other more important figures.
I was wondering if it was possible to take my old e-mail address and take everything that is sent to that e-mail to my newer one, without telling everyone I changed my e-mail. Also, I would want to keep this Y!A account, just change the e-mail so all my e-mails regarding Y!A is sent to my new one as well. Also, all my facebook notifications- can those be sent to my new one too?
