How much work do you have to go through to change your e-mail on facebook?
I want to change my e-mail on facebook. But, how much trouble is it going to be? The only thing you can change is the font size. If you wish to do this:
Click View from the IE toolbar.
From the drop down menu, rest your mouse on Text Size.
From the next menu, click on the size you prefer.

To clarify what is below...when you add another name to the present account you will not lose anything...IE: contacts...address list. etc...You will have to send an email to all your friends advising them of the new email address...if someone makes a mistake and sends it to the email address you don't like anymore it will go to the same inbox so you don't lose any messages.
there used to be an easier way to let people know of your email address change, but yahoo has recently deleted that option when they made many changes to Yahoo...anyway...see below..

My E-mail got hacked and I can't change it in Steam?

Well.. my e-mail recently got hacked by a chinese person, because I play 'WoW' AKA World of Warcraft. And when I tried to recover my e-mail it had some chinese letters in it. (not trying to offend Chinese people btw!) but I called the company of WoW, Blizzard. I had an alternate e-mail which they asked for. So I told them about it and then they changed my e-mail and everything.
Well, but I also have several games on Steam which are account-binded. Steam still works fine I can log in and everything. But what if there's a problem and they have to send me an e-mail which I will not be able to read because I registered on Steam using my old e-mail which I don't use anymore. And when I try to go and settings to change my e-mail it tells me I have to go into my old e-mail for a confirmation code thing.
So if I buy something or I get banned or whatever I can't read any e-mails (I'm not sure if they send u an e-mail if u buy something) because I only have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 which I bought in a store. But I want to buy the map-packs and maybe u have to fill in some confirmation thing which would be sent to ur e-mail (which is my old one). So all in all:
My e-mail got hacked and I can't change it in the Steam settings because it tells me I have to confirm it by an e-mail they will send me. And I can't confirm it because I'm unable to log into my old e-mail.
I tried posting a thread in the Steam forums but when you create a steam account it doesn't count as a forum account aswell so I had to make a steam-forum account. And it said that 'shortly' I would be sent an e-mail which I didn't get yet. Well it's been 2 hours now and I think it should NOT take that long. Oh, when I made the forum-specific account I filled in the new e-mail I use at the moment. But I think the confirmation thing is sent to my old hacked e-mail.
So I can't post a thread on there aswell which got me here.
It's not giving me problems to play anything but I just think I should change my e-mail!
I hope to be helped A.S.A.P. because I want to buy the map-packs and I'm not sure if I would be sent an e-mail to confirm something. But well, thats all.

Make an additional one to your present account and use the new name...You can make the new one the primary if you want by clicking on OPTIONS...MAILS OPTIONS...go to the left and click on ACCOUNT INFORMATION...resubmit your password...go to EDIT to the right of EMIAL INFO. change your prinmary in there after making a secondary...see below

I recieve a lot of spam sent from my own e-mail address. How is this possible?
I would like to block my own e-mail address, but cannot. I have asked yahoo Help about this matter, but nothing had been done,I recieve a lot of spam sent from my own e-mail address. How is this possible?It is a trick that spammers use to get you to open your mail. If you E-mail yourself, than remember which ones they are, then delete the others with out opening them. STOP opening any of them! Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more. You can not completely stop all spam, but you can help to put a big dent in it.
Check mark them and click on 'Spam,' this should stop those addresses from being delivered to your inbox.
Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it
Options /mail options
Click on 'spam' in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Never, ever give out your account information or other personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.

Yes, spammers change one item in their addresses a lot, so you might try blocking the entire domain, by putting in
*@ thedomainyouwanttoblock.com
for instance: *@seeyou.com
Or, if they change the domain, instead of the company name you can block the name by putting in Imatheft_inc@*

Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.
Other tips:
Do not ever open E-mail from people you do not know; and unless you are absolutely sure who it is from then treat them as spam.
Never, ever give out your account information or other personal information to anyone.
If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.

I think my x is checking my e-mail by changing my password?Alright first you need to get on and change your password. then after you do that modify what state your living in under personal information, and change the answer to your secret question. that will stop him from doing it that way. the other way he can get into your account is by telling hotmail to send the account info the other email address you gave them when you signed up...so the only way he can use this method is if he knows the account name and password of your other email. if such is the case than do the same thing for your other email account. this will block him out completely. if you cant get on your email becuase the password is wrong than you know he stole you account and you need email all your contacts, or as many as you can remember and tell them that your dick head of an ex stole your email account and that any email coming from there isnt from you and they can just mark it as spam. this way he cant send out any malicious emails that will hurt friends or family thinking its coming from you. If you have not used the yahoo account for 3 months yahoo cleans house of inactive accounts. Could that be the issue here?
I assume that you have tried to use the %26quot;forgot your password or ID%26quot; that is in the yahoo sign in box? If not try that.
If your account is still active AND you remember your secret answers you can probably get the account back because a hacker cannot change these. He can change your address and sometimes yahoo asks about that during the %26quot;forgot your password or ID%26quot; routine.

If you don't have the old address..... than it's a longer process that has to do with recreating an account (on yahoo or what you used), with the same e-mail address that you had, before your new address. It's like having your old account again ... What do I do about changed mail settings?
Yahoo.co.uk has changed my e-mail settings, I can't see the 'send', 'reply' and 'delete' buttons any more which makes the e-mail useless. Type in some buttons is out of frame, 'attach files' is way over to the right. I can still receive, open and read mail. Can anyone tell me how to change the settings back to normal? Yahoo has not responded to 2 helpforms, needless to say!What do I do about changed mail settings?This is one of those temporary glitches. How do you make a permanent e-mail signature on Hotmail Windows Live?--- Select Options | More Options... (or just Options) from the Windows Live Hotmail toolbar.
Click Personal e-mail signature under Customize your mail.
Enter the desired signature and add any formatting or images.
Windows Live Hotmail does not include the standard signature delimiter automatically. Do add it when composing your signature.
Click Save.
Set up Your MSN Hotmail Signature
To create your email signature in MSN Hotmail:

Follow the Personal Signature link.

Use your spam guard and block address.
Look for the 'Options' link at upper right corner of mail screen and click on it

Click on 'spam' in the list on the left.
Make sure spam guard is on, by checking in the little box.
Then in 'Blocked Email Addresses,' enter the E-mail address you wish blocked, in the box after 'Add a blocked address' and click on the 'add' button, then click on save changes at top left of screen.
You will never get mail from that address again.
This should help you to control your spam.

Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more of it to you.

If you are on a site and you absolutely have to sign up for something, check the entire page to make sure you uncheck any lines wanting to send you any other info, notices, catalogs, ads, and the like.

Yes, spammers change one item in their addresses a lot, so you might try blocking the entire domain, by putting in

for instance: *@seeyou.com
Or, if they change the domain, instead of the company name you can block the name by putting in Imatheft_inc@*
