Yahoo! Answers staff also take abuse and harassment very seriously. Please inform your friend that should they still have a copy of the nature of content sent to their account, they should send a copy of this email along with an explanation to yahoo! answers staff at y_answrs_team@yahoo.com to report the user.
I too share a strong opinion on abusive emails, indeed the last user who sent me a 'not so pleasent email' was later suspended I believe.

Tell your friend to try and not worry about it. It is not worth it. They took the coward's way out. Most of them do, so they are not worth the energy. Just keep answering and asking and have fun.
